Ms. Ambrogio

Ms. Ambrogio is excited to begin her second year at Governor’s Ranch and her ninth year teaching! Over the past eight years, she has taught kindergarten, second grade, and third grade. Ms. Ambrogio attended Colorado State University (go Rams!) where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a master’s degree in Education. In her free time, Ms. Ambrogio enjoys spending time with her friends & family, trying new restaurants, getting lost in a good book or caught up on a good Netflix show, and snuggling with her two cats. As a Colorado native, she enjoys exploring all that this beautiful state has to offer. She is so excited to be part of the Governor’s Ranch community for another school year and to get to know her students and their families!

Mrs. Lees is excited to start her 12th year as a teacher and first at Governor’s Ranch! She has taught a variety of grades, first through fifth. Mrs. Lees attended the University of Northern Colorado earning her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in history. She loves working with kids both in the classroom and outside of school, having taught a technology club, performing arts, student council and summer enrichment programs. In her free time, Mrs. Lees loves to cook and bake, play with her dog Willie, and explore museums, zoos and restaurants with her husband. As a Jeffco graduate, Mrs. Lees is so excited to start her journey in the Governor’s Ranch community. She is looking forward to an amazing year!
   


Alexandra Sturgell
Ms. Alexandra Sturgell

Ms. Sturgell is excited to start her fourth year at Governor’s Ranch where she grew up going to school. Ms. Sturgell attended the University of Northern Colorado to earn her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a minor in science. At the end of last school year, she earned her master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She has coached tennis for seven years. Three of them being summer tennis in the neighborhood and four of them as the JV coach at Mullen High School. Before beginning her teaching career Ms. Sturgell spent a few months in Orlando, Florida participating in an internship program working at Walt Disney World. Along with teaching Ms. Sturgell enjoys reading, hiking, playing tennis and spending time with her friends and family. She is very excited for this year and is looking forward to meeting all of her students and their parents.
