Ms. Frainier is excited to start her fifth year at GRE. This will be her fourth year in Kindergarten. She loves spending her days with her students and is excited for another GREat school year!

Ms. Frainier graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. She then went on to get her master's degree in Sports Administration. She is also a Jeffco Grad, attending Governor's Ranch Elementary herself and graduating from Columbine High School.

In her free time, Ms. Frainier loves to travel, walk her dogs, cheer on the Broncos, and coach the Columbine Poms team.

Ms. Meyer is in love with everything Snoopy as you can see when you enter her classroom! This is her 20th year at Governor's Ranch Elementary and 25th year as a teacher. Since starting to teach kindergarten in 2019, Ms. Meyer has been in awe of the growth of early learners, socially, emotionally, and academically. Watching them grow from the first day of kindergarten to the last day of kindergarten is incredible!

Ms. Meyer has three children, Sara (32), also a kindergarten teacher in Jeffco, Becca (29), a nurse at UC Health, and Matthew (27), an accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Her kids all attended GRE and after taking ten years to spend with her children, an opportunity came to teach at GRE, how amazing!

Her family loves getting together and this picture (also with Chris, Sara’s husband) was from the 4th of July parade this year. Ms. Meyer’s grandsons, Wesley (3) and Cayden (1) had so much fun riding in the parade, eating popsicles, and going to the pool! When not at school, Ms. Meyer loves spending time with her kids, having family dinners, reading, and walking her three dogs, Bella (15), Zoey (10), and Auburn (7). You might have seen her walking the neighborhood since Bella rides in a doggy stroller!

Mrs. Ryckman is so excited to start her twelfth year teaching Kindergarten at GRE! She received her bachelor's degree as well as her teaching license in Early Childhood Education at Metropolitan State College of Denver (where she met her amazing husband Tim, an art teacher in Douglas County) and her master's degree from Lesley University in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Literacy. She began her career in Englewood where she taught first and second grade. She took a ten year break from teaching to stay home with her kids, Jack is now a senior at the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!) and Ruthie is a freshman at Metro State. Both of her kids went to school at GRE and she knew that if she ever went back to teaching, her dream job would be at GRE because of the amazing staff, students and community! She and her family have lived in Governor's Ranch for 20 years. In their free time they love to hang out in the mountains or travel anywhere with a beautiful beach.
