Ms. Ali Ambrogio

Ms. Ambrogio is excited to begin her first year at Governor’s Ranch and her eighth year teaching! Over the past seven years, she has taught kindergarten, second grade, and third grade. Ms. Ambrogio attended Colorado State University (go Rams!) where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a master’s degree in Education. In her free time, Ms. Ambrogio enjoys spending time with her friends & family, trying new restaurants, relaxing with her two cats, and getting caught up on a good Netflix show or book. As a Colorado native, she enjoys exploring all that this beautiful state has to offer. She is so excited to join the Governor’s Ranch community and to get to know her students and their families!

Mrs. Ashley Larson

Ms. Larson is excited to be teaching at Governor's Ranch Elementary where she went to school once upon a time. Ms. Larson attended the University of Colorado-Boulder for her undergrad and Regis University for her Master of Education degree. She has taught third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade over the course of the last twelve years and is looking forward to teaching third grade again. She works with Scholastic Books as a Teacher Advisor to improve reading experiences for students in classrooms across the country. Ms. Larson is Mom to two awesome little boys, Mason (6) and Bode (4). Outside of teaching, Ashley is passionate about running and reading. She is currently training for her three marathons this fall and has a giant TBR (To Be Read) pile. She also enjoys cross-country and downhill skiing, cooking, and reading to her two boys (sharing Harry Potter can't come soon enough). |

Ms. Alexandra Sturgell

Ms. Sturgell is excited to start her second year at Governor’s Ranch where she grew up going to school. Ms. Sturgell attended the University of Northern Colorado to earn her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a minor in science. She has coached tennis for five years. Three of them being summer tennis in the neighborhood and two of them as the JV coach at Mullen High School. After completing her student teaching and before beginning to teach she spent a few months in Orlando, Florida participating in an internship program working at Walt Disney World. Along with teaching Ms. Sturgell enjoys reading, hiking, playing tennis and spending time with her friends and family. She is very excited for this year and is looking forward to meeting all of her students and their parents. |
