Ms. Dylan is excited to begin a third year at Governor's Ranch Elementary as a Colorado Reading Corps K-3 Literacy Tutor! She feels incredibly fortunate to be part of such an amazing, supportive community. Grown in the Pacific Northwest, Ms. Dylan is now daydreaming in Denver. She holds an interdisciplinary BA from the University of Washington with grad school plans on the horizon. Prior to serving with AmeriCorps, she spent four years in early childhood education, while volunteering at a variety of local and national nonprofits assisting in: housing homeless youth and young adults, providing resources to LGBTQ+ youth, food distribution to those facing food insecurity, and facilitating support groups for folks navigating mental illness. She currently volunteers supporting foster youth in Jefferson and Gilpin counties. In her down time, Ms. Dylan enjoys making music, art, hiking, climbing, kick boxing, and reading.
