Governor's Ranch Elementary Clubs

Girls on the Run inspires girls to a lifetime of self-respect and a healthy lifestyle through an innovative program that combines training for a 3.1 mile run/walk race with fun games and activities that help girls learn to define their lives on their own terms.

We will meet Monday and Wednesday's after school at the pavilion by the GRE baseball field, and participation is open to all third, fourth, and fifth grade girls.

Scout Troops

Cub Scouts - Pack 538

Pack 538 meets at GRE once a month on Wednesday evenings. We offer year-round character-building activities, including camping, STEM projects, the pinewood derby and rank advancement. Cub Scouts is for boys and girls, K-5th grade.

Boy Scouts - Troop 538

Troop 538 meets at GRE on Mondays at 6:45 - 8:00 p.m. We have a variety of year-round activities including Summer Camp, Canoe Trips, Camping, Snowshoeing, and Rank Advancement towards Eagle Scout. All youths are welcome and need not have been a Cub Scout before joining Boy Scouts. Boy Scouts are for children 11+.

Creed Award

At the end of each trimester we honor students who have consistently demonstrated the spirit of our school creed. This is not an award that we make sure that everyone receives; this is an award that is earned, and students may earn it more than once. Students may be nominated by either their peers or their teachers for this award. We believe that it is an honor for students to receive a Creed award, so we invite family members to be present along with the entire school for a Creed Assembly.
