Meet the Front Office Staff

Lesa Higgins

 Lesa Higgins, Principal's Secretary
[email protected]
Lesa started her career at the Arabian Horse Registry in Westminster, CO. First she was a customer service representative and then a customer service supervisor. It sounds really cool, but remember it was customer service so you can imagine there were some times that weren't that fun. The fun started when she got to stay home and raise her two daughters for several years. When they started school, she decided that if she was going to go back to work, she'd try to get a schedule that fit with school. So she was a paraprofessional in Denver Public Schools for several years before deciding to go back to school and become a librarian. She worked in Jeffco for 9 years as a librarian at various schools. After some family crises in 2017 she decided to pursue a path that would allow more free time so she moved into Governor's Ranch's office where she enjoys working with the office team and the families of GRE.

Ms. Hill
Ali Hill, Enrollment Secretary
In her five years at Governor’s Ranch Ms. Hill Davis has served in many capacities. First as a library para, and reading interventionist then a 1st grade para before taking on the role of school assessment coordinator and most recently joining our office team to support enrollment and student and staff technology needs. Ms. Hill Davis has two children, her son Mason attended GRE from kindergarten to fifth grade and is now at Ken Caryl Middle School. Her daughter Ryan Rose is currently in 2nd grade at GRE. Ms. Hill Davis enjoys living and working in the Governor’s Ranch community, making it possible for her to connect with students and families on many levels. When she is not at GRE you can find Ms. Hill Davis at her kids sporting events or enjoying time with extended family.

Donna Westwood
Donna Westwood, Health Aide
[email protected]
Mrs. Westwood is excited for her thirteenth year at Governor's Ranch as the Health Aide. Before becoming a Health Aide, Mrs. Westwood went to Jeffco Schools (Green Gables, Carmody, and Bear Creek High) and then college (University of Northern Colorado) where she majored in History and minored in Education and Sociology. She taught for seven years and then stayed home to raise three children. The Westwoods also were a foster family during that time and took care of 30 foster babies in a span of almost eight years. Mrs. Westwood would love to be a foster mom again, but she hasn't talked Mr. Westwood into that idea, yet. The Westwood family consists of daughters; Kelyn (married to James), and Maggie, son; David, and 2 grandsons. Mrs. Westwood also enjoys scrapbooking, cross-stitching, and reading.
