Mrs. Miller is excited to be entering her fifth year as the instructional coach at Governor’s Ranch and 19th year in education. Mrs. Miller earned her Bachelors in Biology and licensure in Elementary Education from a small college in Minnesota called Hamline University, and later received her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction through the University of Phoenix. Her first teaching job was in a multi-age first and second grade classroom at her old elementary school in Elk River, MN, with teachers who taught her in first grade! After that, she moved to Colorado and worked in Douglas County for 12 years teaching first, fifth, and sixth grade and as a district math coach. In Jeffco, she worked at the district level as a math curriculum specialist and as a building level instructional coach. Mrs. Miller loves to run, exercise, and read, and is kept busy by her husband and three boys. Mr. Miller works for South Metro Fire, and her three boys are in eighth grade and sixth grade (twins). In her free time, she loves to be outside, vacation, camp, ski, exercise, watch her kids play lacrosse, and cheer for the Broncos.
