I am happy to be joining the GRE Community as the Digital Teacher Librarian! I have been an Educator for 20 years and a Digital Teacher Librarian for 7 years, teaching in Arkansas, South Korea, and Colorado. As a DTL, I love getting to connect with all of the students in the school, sharing a great love of literacy and technology, and collaborating with classroom teachers to support and supplement lessons. The school library belongs to the entire school community, and I am excited to partner with staff, students, and family members at GRE to provide a supportive, welcoming library space to be utilized by all.

I love reading (print AND audiobooks), traveling, researching, comedy shows, live music, coffee, and podcasts. I lived in South Korea with my family for 8 years and relished getting to travel all over Asia and the South Pacific! I am a native of San Diego, CA and the beach is one of my favorite places to be. My husband and I have a daughter in 7th grade, a son in 4th grade, and we've enjoyed living in Colorado since 2016. I co-lead my daughter's Girl Scout Troop. My kids and I started trying to visit all of the U.S. National Parks in 2020 and so far we have made it to 11.
